Until February 2003 I ran BJ Gardens for five years as a hobby, providing garden maintenance and landscaping services, in addition to my full time night job. The business grew, through the kind recommendations made by my clients, and more and more demands were being made on my time.
In February 2003 I decided to "take the plunge" and run my business full time. I registered as a Limited Company and, as I had worked for many years for an established building firm early on in my career, I decided to add the Property Services element to my business.
Since the launch of BJG Property Services Ltd, not only have I retained my existing maintenance clientele, but have also obtained a number of new clients in this regard providing a regular garden tidy and maintenance service.
In addition to the maintenance I have designed and completed a good number of garden landscaping projects. Gardens are now perceived to be an extension of the home and provide another living area. I aim to create gardens that are both functional and a natural extension of your home.
My portfolio extends to include several school recreational area projects for local primary schools.
I have also provided project management services for property extensions whilst completing most of the preparation, internal and grounds maintenance work myself and I am happy to provide this service for house extension and loft/garage conversions etc.
